We welcome Dr Zhenrong Shen joining the CIMIM group as a Research Associate

Zhenrong Shen is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Manchester, working on multimodal generative AI for virtual patient populations in in-silico trials. His research interests lie at the intersection of AI and medicine, with a focus on generative AI for medical imaging.

Zhenrong received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where his doctoral research centered on medical image synthesis. Prior to that, he obtained his B.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering from Beihang University. He was awarded with the MICCAI 2024 Young Scientist Award.

In his free time, Zhenrong enjoys watching videos (e.g., movies, TV series, online content) and playing computer games.
